What this policy covers

This policy covers the public website at pinthecup.com. It does not cover the P in the Cup app, which is not live yet and will run separately with its own privacy policy, published before the app launches. For how the app is being designed to handle your information, see Privacy Explained.

What this website is

pinthecup.com is a static website: a set of fixed pages served to your browser. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no forms of any kind, so you cannot submit information to it.

What this website does not use

• No cookies.
• No analytics.
• No advertising, tracking or remarketing tools.
• No third-party scripts, fonts, images or embedded content. Everything on the page is loaded from pinthecup.com itself.

Web server access logs

Like almost every web server, ours keeps a standard access log of requests it receives. Each entry records:

• the IP address the request came from;
• the date and time;
• the address of the page or file requested;
• the referring page, if your browser sends one;
• your browser's user-agent (a short description of the browser and device type);
• the response status (for example, whether the page was found) and the size of the response.

We use these logs only to keep the website secure and working, for example to spot attacks, errors and broken links. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors, and we do not sell or share them for marketing. Access logs, and the server's error log, are rotated daily and kept for 14 days, then deleted.

Links to other websites

This website links to other websites, such as government sources and shops. Our links carry no tracking codes or IDs. When you follow a link, you leave this website, and the other site's own privacy policy and cookies apply. We do not control what those sites collect.
