Community Pilot Planned
The P in the Cup community pilot
Before a wide launch, we plan to invite a small number of families, individuals, private groups and independent facilitators to try the free scheduling service and tell us what works and what does not. Interest is welcome now; the pilot itself has not started.
Current status
The pilot is planned. No dates, number of places or selection criteria have been fixed, and expressing interest does not reserve a place. This page will be updated when details are confirmed.
What we hope to learn
The purpose of the pilot
Is it clear?
Do agreements, sharing choices and the "Is today the day?" reveal make sense to people who have not seen them before?
Does it reduce friction?
Does a neutral schedule actually take the argument out of choosing days, and does the tone feel supportive rather than suspicious?
Do the privacy controls work?
Can participants easily share only what they intend, and leave when they want to?
How to express interest
Send us a short message
This website has no sign-up form. To express interest, contact us: A contact address will be published here before launch.
Please include
- A name or a nickname, whichever you prefer.
- Your role: for example, adult family member, individual, private group organiser, or independent coach or facilitator.
- Your organisation, only if you are writing on behalf of one.
- Optionally, one or two sentences on what you would like a scheduling tool to do well.
Please do not send
Do not include health history, recovery or treatment status, substance use details, test results, testing plans, medications, or details of family conflict, whether about yourself or anyone else. We do not need this information to consider your interest, and email is not an appropriate place for it. If a message contains it, we will not use it.
What happens next
Manual review, no automatic account
-
A person reads your message
Interest is reviewed manually. There is no automated scoring or profiling.
-
No account is created
Writing to us does not create an account in the app or add you to any schedule or group.
-
We reply if and when the pilot opens
If the pilot goes ahead and fits what you described, we will reply with details so you can decide whether to take part. Taking part is voluntary and you can withdraw at any time.
-
No mailing list unless you ask
Expressing pilot interest does not subscribe you to anything. Any future newsletter would be a separate opt-in.
P in the Cup is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any recovery fellowship, treatment provider, court or employer. The random scheduling and accountability service is free. Test kits and any laboratory testing are purchased separately.
