In an emergency, do not contact us
We cannot help with emergencies and we do not monitor messages around the clock. If someone is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the US).
In the US, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7/365: call or text 988, or chat at chat.988lifeline.org. The Lifeline says it can help with mental health struggles, emotional distress and alcohol or drug use concerns, including if you are worried about someone else, and that conversations are free and confidential.
